I'm originally from Texas, where getting chicken at the gas station is the norm. I heard this was coming and got very excited I really wanted a place near by with good fried chicken. My husband took me and it's easy ordering at a kiosk then pay at the counter. Chicken was juicy and delicious, also got a biscuit and a side of mashed potatoes. Everything was hot and fresh plus it tasted amazing. Truly enjoyed it happy to have some good fried chicken.
Best fast food fried chicken? Not even close to average.
Fried? Overly
The wait, ten minutes for the above meal. There wet at least 8 people working the kitchen. When I expect fast I expect my food fast. If I wanted to wait I would have cooked it myself from scratch. Stick to Popeyes or Church's down the road for the real best fast food chicken.
A lot of good for your money and made fresh on the spot. Bathrooms were state-of-the-art and very sanitary. Customer service was great and they would have gotten five stars if it wasn't for the 45-minute wait. That's understandable considering it just opened up but I'm sure that as time goes on they'll have better time management. The staff apologize for the week and made sure my food was made correctly and fresh. Will definitely go back
The tenders, if you can even legally call them tenders are bland, the coating has your wanting more, or just anything, it's just breading. As far as the legality of calling them tenders, they are not tenders. The meat is the breast ripped off the rib cage. So really they are boneless fried chicken breasts. They were at least fresh from the fryer, but that's the worst part, they were soggy throughout.
Tenders were extremely dry, and cold. The western fries that had come with it, in my eyes were under cooked with no flavor. The only reason I'll give 2 stars is that the customer service was good. If you looking for fresh food chicken thats even a little cheaper. Stick to Popeye's
I ordered a three piece chicken tenders and mashed potatoes with chicken gravy. The potatoes themselves lacked flavor, tasted like plain potato mush. No butter, cream, milk, not even salt. The chicken gravy was just as lackluster. The combo of the two had less flavor then the potatoes you get with a $2 tv dinner.
Chicken? Questionable
Fast? NO
Best? NO
Food? They sell food, sure
Worst experience ever!!! No one tells you that you have to order on screen. The big special (chicken and waffle was not even on screen). Then after 20 min they simply placed my order anyway. Then told me I had to pay first in a crazy long line. I stink like grease so I just left. Imagine breathing in the grease due to improper ventilation system, if any system at all. Not worth the stress. Can't even find a manager to complain. I left my name and contact info last week and still no response from any management. They simply do not care about the public consumer. They just want your money for gas and chicken. They don't even go together well.
